Materials

Body and release ring: Polypropylene, threaded part: Polypropylene or stainless steel AISI 304, cartridge: Stainless steel AISI 304, seals: EPDM with PTFE coating (cylindrical thread with EPDM O-ring with hollow spaces), locking jaws: Stainless steel AISI 301, used plastics and seals have FDA approval (only silicone-free seals and lubricants are used during assembly)

 

Temperature range:

-20 ° C to + 80 ° C

 

Operating Pressure:

-0.95 to 9 bar (up to max. + 20 ° C), 30 ° C: 6 bar, 40 ° C: 5 bar, 50 ° C: 4 bar, 60 ° C: 3.4 bar, 80 ° C : 3 bar. No pressure reducers for types IQSG ... PP ES, IQSF ... PP ES & IQSS ... PP ES.

 

Media:

oil-free compressed air, water (also demineralised), non-hazardous gases and liquids (no mineral oils)

 

Hint:

Due to the mechanical properties of the polypropylene material, the plug connections must not be exposed to increased mechanical loads. The return of opened packages is excluded.

 

Benefits:

• Simpler and more affordable as stainless steel plug connections, • Cleaned (US FED 209D, class 10000 - ISO 14664-1 class 7) cleaned, assembled and packaged separately, • Oil and silicone-free production, • Threaded parts made of polypropylene or stainless steel, • Transparent body allows a view of the medium inside of the connection. • Used plastics and seals are FDA approved

* Due to the high expansion coefficient of polypropylene, large temperature fluctuations can lead to leaks. We recommend sealing with Loctite seal 55.
