Safety couplings with a nominal width of 6 mm are often used in applications where installations or machines must be protected against damage.

The safety couplings in accordance with ARBO / ISO 6150-B differ from the standard couplings in that the coupling plug is first vented when it is disconnected before it is completely disconnected. In this way, with a standard coupling, any lashing effect that may pop up can be reliably prevented.
