Rotary joints

Rotary joints

Rotary feedthroughs are used when media must be transported under rotating or swiveling movements. In contrast to positionable screw connections, the rotating screw connections are designed for permanent pivoting or rotating movements for a certain pressure range and medium. Maximum pressure at maximum rotation speed shortens the service life. Some rotary connections require lubrication through the medium (for example, hydraulic attachments). Rotatable connections can significantly improve the life of a hose because they reduce the torsional stress on the tube. The use of a cable gland in pipelines must be avoided, because alignment inaccuracies cannot be compensated here.
