Description

Type of galvanized steel

Materials

Body: Zinc plated steel or available elastomer seal: NBR

Temperature range:

-40 ° C to max. +120 ° C (with elastomer seal: -35 ° C to max. +100 ° C)

Type of stainless steel and NC coupling

Materials

Body: 1.4571, possibly available elastomeric seal: FKM

Temperature range:

-60 ° C to max. +400 ° C (with elastomer seal: -20 ° C to max. +200 ° C, NC couplings on request up to +550 ° C)

Installation of cutting ring fittings and NC clamping ring fittings

1) Cut the pipe rectangular and deburr and clean it inside and outside. Do not use a pipe cutter. Use a reinforcement sleeve for thin-walled or soft pipes.

2) Lubricate support thread and cone, union nut and cutting ring well with oil. Always use PASTE ES for stainless steel cutting ring couplings (optional for NC couplings).

3) Push the union nut and cutting ring onto the pipe. Observe correct position of cutting ring / NC clamping ring - otherwise incorrectly fitted.

4) Tighten the union nut as far as possible with hand. Marking the union nut for checking the prescribed speed. Press the tube into the cone until the stop - otherwise no cutting operation can be carried out. Tighten the union nut with a wrench approx. 1 turn (DIN cutting ring fitting), or approx. 1 1/4 revolutions (NC clamping ring fitting). Tube may not rotate.

5) Loosen the union nut for checking the mounting. Cutting ring: The raised tube material must cover the front cutting ring faces. If that is not the case, then take a little more. Due to the spring action of the cutting ring it can still run, this is not a mistake. NC clamping ring: The clamping ring must not shift anymore. Final assembly: Fit union nut on supports - up to noticeable increase in force -. Then tighten with 1/2 turn (DIN cutting ring coupling), or 1/4 turn (NC clamping ring coupling).

6) Final assembly: Mount the union nut on the socket until the force increases noticeably. Then tighten with 1/4 - 1/2 turn (cutting ring screw connection) or 3/4 turn (NC clamping ring screw connection).

Pay attention:

Mounting of stainless steel couplings only with the aid of suitable lubricants.

Notes on NC compression fittings

Benefits:

• Compatible with any cutting ring coupling according to DIN EN ISO 8434-1 (DIN 2353). • Is also resistant to dynamic loads such as vibrations and pulsations. • Can be loosened and screwed on as often as desired. • NC clamping ring is unhardened, unlike a cutting ring, so it can not corrode and has good chemical resistance. • Lubrication of the thread of the nut is not necessary for initial assembly due to silver coating., • Vacuum density Q <10 ^ 8 mbar l />, • ideal for use in the gas and water industry

Required pipe quality:

The couplings must be processed with heat-treated, seamless stainless steel pipes (1.4571) in accordance with DIN EN ISO 1127. The tolerance class must be D4 / T3, the surface must not be damaged and the hardness must not exceed Rockwell HRB 90.
