Operating Principle:

Throttle check valves restrict the flow in one direction while allowing unrestricted flow in the opposite direction. In the standard design, the throttle check valves are "exhaust air controlled." For example, when the valves are screwed into a cylinder, they ensure smooth operation without a stick-slip effect. In cylinders with a small volume (small diameter / short stroke), the throttle check valves are used in the special design "supply air controlled."
