NAMUR 3/2 valves

All valves are without solenoid coil and standard plug, which must be ordered separately.

3/2-way valves with NAMUR interface

A 3/2 NAMUR valve is a pneumatic valve with a special connection pattern of the outputs of the valve. These outputs are normally the ports 2 and 4 of a valve.

Thanks to this standard you place the valve directly on the pneumatic actuator with the same NAMUR standard. Hoses and couplings between the valve and the actuator are therefore not required. The pneumatic actuator ensures the opening and closing of, for example, ball valves and butterfly valves.

After-hours is used as standard within the process industry or other industrial applications, such as in the pharmaceutical sector, in the chemical industry and in the food industry.

NAMUR means "Normen Arbeitsgemeinschaft Für Mess-Und Regelungstechniek". The connections are laid down in the VDI / VDE 3845 standard.

A 3/2 valve has 3 connection ports and 2 switching positions and can be normally closed or normally open.

Normally closed means that ports 1 and 2 are not connected to each other in the position of rest of the valve. Ports 2 and 3 are connected to each other so that any return air can escape.

If you switch the valve, air flows from port 1 to port 2 and the vent port is closed.

A normally open valve works the other way around. In the rest position, ports 1 and 2 are connected to each other so that air flows out of the valve when the supply air is connected to port 1. If you switch the valve, port 1 closes and the incoming air can escape via port 3 again.

All valves are equipped with a magnetic coil and standard plug.
