Push-in reducing coupling, PP

MORE INFORMATION

Push-in reducing coupling, PP

Materials:

Housing and release ring: Polypropylene

Cartridge: Stainless steel

Seals: EPDM with PTFE coating

Locking claws: Stainless steel

Temperature range:

-20°C to +80°C

Operating pressure:

-0.95 to 9 bar (up to max. +20°C)

30°C: 6 bar

40°C: 5 bar

50°C: 4 bar

60°C: 3,4 bar

80°C: 3 bar

Media:

Oil-free compressed air, water (including demineralized), non-hazardous gases and liquids (no mineral oils)

Note:
Due to the mechanical properties of polypropylene, push-in fittings should not be exposed to increased mechanical stress. Return of opened packaging is excluded

Advantages:

• Simpler and more affordable than stainless steel push-in fittings
• Cleaned, assembled, and individually packaged in cleanroom (US FED 209D, class 10000 – ISO 14664-1 class 7)
• Threaded parts available in polypropylene or stainless steel
• Transparent body allows visual inspection of the medium inside the fitting

*Due to the high coefficient of expansion of polypropylene, leakage may occur under large temperature fluctuations. We recommend sealing with Loctite Thread Sealant 55 in this case
