Thread sealant is used to prevent leaks in your compressed air system. A leak can have major consequences; loss of air pressure, downtime of a machine or installation etc.

Leakage of the thread seal can have various causes:

No full contact with the flanks of the thread

Poor quality of the threads

Tighten too tightly or too loosely.

Liquid thread seals have a gluing effect because they seal the thread. The material fills all the cavities in the threads, does not shrink and cures quickly.
