What types of operating mechanisms are there?

Prevost offers two types of safety couplings, each with a unique mechanism for maximum safety:

Slide couplings
You vent the line by sliding the sleeve backward. Only when the pressure has fully dropped do you slide the coupling forward to disconnect the nipple. This guarantees a safe disconnection, without the risk of whipping hoses.
Push-button couplings
This type is extremely easy to operate. The first press of the button vents the coupling. The nipple only releases after the second press, when the pressure has fully dropped. This makes it a very safe and user-friendly solution.
