Cutting ring fittings, brass nickel plated ISO 8434-1 (4-18 mm)

Brass cutting ring screw connections acc. to DIN EN ISO 8434-1 (previously DIN 2353) are mainly used with copper pipes or polyamide pipes. They are not compatible with the compression ring screw connections acc. to DIN EN 1254-2, but however with the cutting ring screw connections made of steel or stainless steel, also called "Ermeto screw connections". During the assembly of PA pipe or thin-walled copper pipe, a reinforcement sleeve must be used. With the use of steel pipe or stainless steel pipe we recommend using cutting ring screw connections made of steel or stainless steel. The screw connections can be used in applications of up to max. 115 bar.
