Pneuparts supplies cylinder switches, reed switch and cylinder sensors in various variants, reed switches or fully electronic switches, for almost all common cylinders. The switches are operated by a magnet integrated in the piston and can be used to detect an end position of the cylinder. Cylinders are often provided with a groove in which a cylinder switch can be used directly. the cylinder switches with a T-slot (Festo) or a C-slot (SMC) are often used. If the groove is closed laterally by attachments or cylinder heads, a cylinder switch must be selected which can be inserted into the groove from above. With round cylinders, the switches are usually secured with a belt because there is no groove here.
