How do they work?

When selecting the right cylinder, you can consider the following points:

• Single-acting or double-acting: Do you need force in only one direction (single-acting), or does the cylinder need to extend and retract with force (double-acting)?

• Cushioning: To absorb the impact when the cylinder reaches the end of its stroke, it is equipped as standard with elastic cushioning. Are you dealing with heavy loads or high speeds? In that case, you can choose adjustable cushioning to decelerate the movement smoothly.

• Position sensing: The cylinder is equipped with an integrated magnet as standard. This allows you to mount a small external sensor that accurately indicates whether the cylinder is retracted or extended.
