Operation:
This type of valve is designed for low energy consumption. Often, a “latching” or pulse technology is used: the coil only requires a short pulse to switch the valve. Afterward, the valve remains in the selected position without continuous power to the coil.

Bistable valves can be permanently switched with a short control signal. Without a signal, the valve remains in its current position. The valve switches again when a control signal is applied to the other side. Therefore, each position requires a separate control
